Where:John Zink Ranch/Cub World

Cost: $45.00 for Mateys (Scouts) and Swashbucklers (Dads). Additional Mateys $20.00

“Ahoy, Landlubbers!

Grab your eye patch & peg leg, pick out a pirate name, and come to Zink Ranch to find out what treasures await ye!

Registration with health forms will be accepted at the Scout Resource Center (4295 S. Garnett Road). The deadline for registration is Oct 8th, in order to guarantee pirate-wear (a t-shirt). Registrations received after 5pm on Oct 8th will not receive t-shirts. Sorry, no exceptions.

Please report at the Dock (Welcome Center) between 7:00am and 7:30am on Saturday Oct 23rd. Opening flag ceremony starts promptly at 8:45am with activities immediately following. Meals will be served in the galley Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning. The Port Royale Trading Post will be available for snacks and beverages, so don’t forget your pieces of eight ($change$). Plan to stay for Sunday Chapel service and closing ceremonies.

Each pack will choose one Swashbuckler (dad), or one will be chosen for you, to be a liaison to check in for your pack at the Dock(Welcome Center). Schedules, assigned campsites, & pirate- wear will be given to that person at that time. Canvas tents with cots are available, however you must reserve a canvas tent on your application. They will be assigned on a first come, first reserved basis. Tents are limited, so get your reservations in early. If you do not reserve a tent you will need to bring your own.

Once camp is in session, there will be NO unauthorized driving allowed until after chapel on Sunday. There will be NO parking in campsites, only in designated parking areas. NO EXCEPTIONS! (Or you will walk the plank!) If you have special needs, please make a note on your registration form or let our Event Coordinator at the Dock know upon arrival.

Suggested supplies & provisions to bring are: Tent, bedroll (sleeping bag), extra blanket, weather appropriate clothes, rain gear, extra shoes, flashlight(s), extra batteries, camera, trash bags, cap/hat, bug repellent, silver/gold/greenbacks for trading post, personal first aid kit and any medicines that may be needed. Medicines must be in original containers with prescription medicine and dosage listed. For more information on scout camping guidelines please refer to the Guide to Safe Scouting.
