October 8th 9th and 10th 2010

Back to Camp GARLAND Twin Arrows District, Webelos Woods. All Webelos will have the opportunity to experience BOY SCOUTING for a weekend! Boy Scout Troops from the District will be hosting Webelos Dens to camp with them. The Camping Committee and Staff, along with all Troops, will be presenting the activities at this event. Activities and Competitive Activities that will be provided, include:

  • Team Skis
  • Compass Course
  • Lava Crossing

  • Archery
  • Zip Line
  • Slingshot Shoot
  • Tomahawk Throw
  • Black Powder Cooking
  • Geo Cache
  • Patrol Flag Competition
  • Annual Troop Chili Cookoff
  • Best Patrol Yell

Troops should be prepared with a best skit and patrol yells for the Evening Campfire

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons will be awarded for each activity designated by a # sign above to both Boy Scout Patrols and Webelos Dens. Be sure and have your Patrol Flags, your best chili recipe and Scout Skills ready for a fun day of friendly competition to determine the top all-around Scout Patrol and Webelos Den.

Fees will be $5.00 per camper (both youth and adults). Registration Forms and fees are due at the Scout Service Center no later than October 4th. Earlier registration will insure that everyone gets a patch. As on normal campouts, Troops will be responsible for their own meals, and 1st Aid Response. Webelos Dens will need to make arrangements for meals with a host Troop, so plan accordingly.

Check-in will run from 5:00pm – 9:00pm on Friday, October 8th. No cars will be allowed in campsites after 10:00pm. Late check-in will be from 7:00am – 8:30am on Saturday, October 9th.

Health forms are required for all participants (youth and adult). Please turn in the newest Health form completed and signed, to your Troop Leader before coming to camp.
