Cub Scout Shooting Sports Orientation

Successful completion of the Cub Scout Shooting Sports Orientation will fulfill the practical requirements for the leader to conduct Cub Scout shooting sports programs at council sponsored camps (day camp, resident camp, family camp) only. These activities are to be conducted on approved ranges, under the direction of a council assigned range officer, who has completed the Cub Scout Shooting Sports Orientation conducted by a BSA Certified Shooting Sports Director. Activities are limited to BB Guns and Archery.

Cub Scout Shooting Sports Orientation training is valid for 2 years.

Class size is limited to the first 32 reservations (application with the $10.50 fee) and pre-registration is required no later than Thursday, March 31, 2011.
