The Basic Archery Instructor Course is designed to qualify instructors for camp programs and other short-term youth programs. Although encouraged, USA Archery membership is not required to become a Basic Archery instructor. BSA policy requires the responsible leader in charge of Archery shooting activities hold a current Instructor Certification.

The course will be conducted in two sessions. Students will be working in the classroom as well as on the Range. This course is intended to give the instructor candidate practical experience in Archery safety and instructing Scouts in the basic skills of shooting. Attendance at both sessions is required.
