Training Techniques, Skills, & Knowledge for Scouting’s Leadership

NEW! The Trainer’s EDGE is a required “train-the-trainer” experience for all District and Council Trainers, and Wood Badge and NYLT staffs. The course is intended to provide insight to behaviors and resources, while offering hands-on experience in methods and media, to develop the platform (technical) skills of a trainer.

Completion of the Trainer’s EDGE is a requirement for the Pack Trainer’s Award. Boy Scout Leaders will also want to participate to become familiar with the “Teaching EDGE” model which Scouts are now required to demonstrate for the Tenderfoot and Life Scout ranks.
