Drummers are helping to fill the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, so they can continue their work to eliminate food insecurity and hunger in our area. Each drummer needs to bring 10 cans of food, with 100% of donations going to the Food Bank.

When: Sun, November 6, 2011
Where: John Q. Hammons Arena at the UMAC

If there are more than 582 drummers playing together at the same time here in Tulsa, we could break a world record currently held by “Drumfest” in England.  Drum Day takes place in the John Q. Hammons Arena at the UMAC (Union Multipurpose Activity Center) located at 71st and Mingo in Tulsa, OK.  For more information, visit http://drumdaytulsa.com and feel free to download the flyer.

Local food banks are experiencing shortages, so this issue is very important this year. Scouting For Food is just 3 months away!  Be sure to check back for updates on Scouting for Food in February.
