As we celebrate the 102nd Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, we know that through the years we have traveled an incredible journey preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes.

The key to our success has always been trained leaders, both volunteers and professionals.

In honor of the 102nd Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, we would like to invite all of our top key volunteers, to attend a conference this summer at the Philmont Training Center, the National Training Center of the Boy Scouts of America. This opportunity will further prepare you and provide you with confidence to further embrace your leadership position.

Click here for the 2012 Philmont Conference brochure that outlines the many conferences available and answers many questions that you might have about this unique training experience as well as details regarding the family program. Bringing your family with you to PTC is a great family adventure! The brochure also provides the step by step procedures to follow to register for a conference.

If you have specific questions about which conference to register for, please contact Greg Hall, ghall@okscouts.org.

With the information that you will learn from attending a Philmont Training Center Conference, we know that it will enhance your experience in the coming year and will help us achieve greater results as we engage the youth in the Indian Nations Council in the programs of the Boy Scouts of America.

Thank you for being a Key Volunteer!

Sincerely,

Bill Haines,
Council President
