NYLT Info for Unit Leaders

Unit Leaders, please allow me to ask you a few questions.

  • Do you want your current/next SPL or Crew President to learn about team leadership?
  • Do you want your youth leaders to learn about team development?
  • Do you want your youth leaders to get the same type of training that Fortune 500 companies give to their managers?
  • Do you want your youth leaders to “speak the same language” as adult leaders that have attended Wood Badge for the 21st Century?
  • Do you want to meet one of your ‘Journey to Excellence’ requirements?

If you answered yes to any of these questions I would like to extend an invitation to your unit to send your scouts to the upcoming National Youth Leadership Training course being held this summer at the Bartlett Training Center. NYLT is the top level of training available to the youth in our council. This course will provide your youth leaders with training on team leadership and development, project leadership and management, the life cycle of a team, just to name a few. This is an exciting course that will renew your scouts interest in the Scouting program and in your units program.

When: June 25-30, 2012
