Five Categories

  • Webelos I
  • Webelos II
  • Scouts from New Member to First Class
  • Scout from Star to Eagle
  • Adult Leaders and Parents

Awards in Four Categories

  • Trophies for First Place in the first four categories
  • Medals for 2nd and 3rd Place in the first four categories.

Additional Art Contest Details

Art projects should be turned in on Friday night, if possible when the troops register (with Rick Hayes), or on Saturday morning for Webelos, as they arrive, (with Rick Hayes). There will be someone from the Art Committee at the registration desk to take charge of the art projects and take them to Siegfried Hall for display.

Art projects must address the general theme of WOW, namely, the Olympics, Ancient Greece, Mythology, etc.

Art projects should not exceed 11×14″ in size. The project can be framed or unframed.

Art projects should not have any identifying names or pack or troop numbers on the front.

Art projects must have identifying information on the back. See attached form.

Participants can submit multiple projects. It is not limited to just one.

Projects need to be flat, and in oil, pen and ink, pencil, water color, tempra, charcoal, crayon, air brush or any combination of the mediums listed

Judging will be conducted by people not associated with any troop or pack. All judges decisions are final.

Adult leaders, both cub and scout, are encouraged to submit a project of their own for display. It must follow the theme of WOW, namely, the Olympics, Ancient Greece, Mythology, and must be appropriate for display. It will be for display purposes only and not eligible for awards.

Winners will be announced at the campfire on Saturday night.

All artwork needs to be picked up on Sunday morning before Chapel Service.
