Earn Your Religious Emblem

The Salvation Army, Campfire and BSA are offering a class for any interested 9th through 12th grade boy or girl to earn the God and Life Religious Emblem

The program investigates and affirms Protestant Christian principles that are relevant to freshmen through seniors in high school.  Youth of all faiths are invited.  Participants earn a medal that can be worn on their uniform as Girl Scouts, Campfire, American Heritage Girls and in the case of Boy Scouts, can also be worn on the uniform after the boy becomes an adult leader.

1st and 3rd Thursday of each month  February to May, 2013 at 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

No charge except $5.00 to cover cost of the Workbook,   payable at the first meeting.  If the student successfully completes the course, there are a variety of medals and tokens that can be purchased.  View them at www.praypub.org.

The class will decide if they want to participate in enrichments such as rock climbing or COPE, etc., which may entail modest cost.
