Today we would like to recognize Jennifer O’Connor, Troop 977 of Twin Arrows District as one of our Volunteer Valentines!

Jennifer not only dedicates many hours of her week to Troop 977, but she is also a practicing nurse with her MSN, CFCN and CNE. In addition to serving as a Merit Badge Counselor for a number of topics, Jennifer has also acted as a First Aid Instructor to both the youth and leaders at no cost. Jennifer is currently preparing to co-lead a trek to Philmont and in that capacity plans and attends physical conditioning sessions and shakedowns twice a week. Jennifer also continues to serve cheerfully as Camp Nurse at the Twin Arrows Day Camp, as well as many Camporees and Webelos Woods. Along with all her Scouting responsibilities, Jennifer is also a mom and wife, a full time faculty member of the NSU College of Nursing, a part time faculty member at the University of Missouri College of Nursing AND working to complete her PhD in Nursing Education.

It’s easy to see why Jennifer is one of our Volunteer Valentines! Thank you for all that you do, Jennifer!
