We are looking for designs for the 2016 Memorial Day Floral Haven Avenue of Flags participation patch. The creator of the winning design will be given a $250 camper scholarship for use at any Indian Nations Council camp program (Cub Scout “Native American” day camp, Cub Scout “S.T.E.M.” resident camp, or Hale Scout Reservation summer camp).

GUIDELINES

  • The theme of the patch should revolve around Scouting and patriotism
  • Designed for a patch size of 3.5” x 3.5”
  • It must include the American Flag, the BSA flue-de-leis, and the Floral Haven logo (red/green flower)
  • Lettering on the patch must be straight line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal)
  • The phrase “Floral Haven Avenue of Flags 2016” must be included
  • All designs need to be original and not use art from other sources
  • The design must lend itself to being embroidered on a patch
  • You must be a registered youth member of a scouting unit in the Indian Nations Council
  • Entries must include your name (first and last), unit number, and contact information

The winning design will be selected by Scouting Volunteers and Floral Haven Staff. The winning scout will receive special recognition at Floral Haven during the Memorial Day afternoon ceremonies.
