arrow boxes

As we have purchased new arrows for our Archery venues, they have been stored in the original corrugated packaging. Over time, the boxes have been exposed to wet, dry, hot conditions, and transported to and from event locations, all of which have contributed to the deterioration of the box and contents.

Our sincere thanks to several Scouters who provided design expertise, financial and material resources. This project took over 200 man-hours. We are grateful to the members of the Council Shooting Sports Committee who fabricated twenty arrow boxes, each of which will hold 72 arrows. They are designed in two sizes, short and tall, to hold arrows best suited for the intended program level.

The boxes have been distributed to Cub Scout Day Camps, Cub World, Webelos Resident Camp, the Cub Scout Archery venue at Mabee Scout Reservation, Hale Scout Reservation, and the Williamson Shooting Sports Complex.
