We know how much Scouting effects the community – but we need your help to spread the Scouting message! Imagine the impact of news stories, pictures or social media posts throughout all of Green Country showing all the ways Scouting serves the community. The Flashbulb Award is a way to honor Scouts for being a shining beacon in their community and representing the Scouting program.

Scouts, we want to see photos of you and your Pack, Troop, Venture Crew or Exploring Post in action! It’s simple – all you have to do is show us the local newspaper/publication, digital news source or social media outlet that has shared pictures or a story of you/your unit out in the community.

All links can be emailed to AnnaBeth Williams at awilliams@okscouts.org. You can also mail any clippings or copies of publications to the Scout Resource Center at 4295 S. Garnett Road, Tulsa, OK 74146. Once we receive your story, we will present you with the Flashbulb Award patch.

We look forward to seeing what you’ve been up to!
