Attorney/Law:
Tulsa Youth Court meets Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Members will go through
a mini-semester of law classes, with opportunities to try actual
juvenile cases upon pass and completion of courses. Youth Court
members may also be called upon to serve as prosecution, defense,

Communications:
Tulsa World Satellite is currently meeting on Mondays at 6 p.m.
Area high school youth have the opportunity to write, illustrate,
and photograph for the Satellite, a feature in the Monday edition

Medical:
Tulsa St. Johns meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.
Explorers will be eligible to apply for the Summer Junior Volunteer
Program which give opportunities to work with professional and technical

Owasso St. Johns meets the first Monday of each month at 6:00p.m.

Fire and Emergency:
Tulsa Fire Department provide a annual academy that provides hands-on
experience, physical and metal fitness, leadership and teamwork
skills, information on pursuing a career in emergency service, how
to prevent/react in emergencies, and how to qualify and apply for
scholarships. The Tulsa Firefighter Career Academy takes place in

Verdigris Fire Department meets first and third Thursday of the

Westville Fire Department meet the first and third Tuesday of each

Law Enforcement:
Youth will work with officers, preview career requirements, and
learn every aspect of law enforcement. They participate in hands
on activities that prepare then for a career in Law Enforcement.
Tulsa Police Department meets Tuesdays at 6 p.m. Contact Gerard

Tulsa County Sheriff Department meets every other Monday at 6:45
p.m. As well as career requirements, youth will have hands-on experiences

Sand Springs Police Department meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. Contact

Coweta Police Department meets every other Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Contact

Westville Police Department meets the second and fourth Tuesday

Modeling and Acting:
Linda Layman Agency provides one-on-one consultations and explores
career possibilities and training for various aspects of the industry.

Transportation:
Spartan School of Aeronautics meets every Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
All aspects of aviation discussed, with opportunities for community
service and other activities, including Ground School. Discuss topics
with other youth members working on their pilot’s license.
