      UNITed: Troop 918

Let's get to know Troop 918!

Troop 918 was founded in early 2019 and at the writing of this article, is nearing our 2 year anniversary (FEB/MAR 2019.)

We have 12 scouts and several AOL Scouts planning on joining in 2021. We have 3 Life Scouts.

Scouts were part of the last two Pine Tree Courses (one being the first course with female scouts.)

Four of our Scouts went through the Order of the Arrow Ordeal last month.

During the pandemic, we moved to zoom meeting and eventually started meeting outside at Hunter Park until our COR allowed us to meet there. We now meet outside of our church when we have nice weather.

Our Scouts have attended several merit badge fairs (including November's Eagle District's.) Several took part in the Zink Ranch Sporting Clay's tournament this past summer. We've camped at McClintock, Heyburn Lake, Oologah Lake, Skiatook Lake, Greenleaf, Garland, Graves and others. Because of the pandemic, we didn't attend summer camp, but did go to Slippery Falls in 2019.

Our chartering organization is Tulsa Central Church of the Nazarene.
