      The Value of Scouting

Families today have many options, but only Scouting provides a safe and fun atmosphere where a kid can be a kid all while preparing them to become even better adults.

The Indian Nations Council is committed to providing a safe and cost-effective Scouting experience for all youth and families. We are working hard to keep the cost of Scouting as low as possible. We believe money should never prevent any youth from participating in Scouting.

Scouts are encouraged to further finance their adventure by selling popcorn in our yearly popcorn sale.

Scouting continues to be one of the best value programs for youth and families available today. Together we are preparing young people for life and helping to build strong bonds in young families.

      WELCOME TO CUB SCOUTS

We’re all about encouraging boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge. To learn more about the aims and benefits of Cub Scouting, follow the links below!

      CUB SCOUT RANK INFORMATION

On the advancement trail, a Cub Scout progresses towards a badge of rank based on their grade. They need not have earned the previous rank in order to earn the next.  To earn each badge of rank a Cub Scout earns the six required Adventures and at least two elective Adventures.  Required Adventures are based on the aims and areas of importance in Scouting. Each badge of rank is age-appropriate, so earning a rank below a Cub Scout’s current grade is not permitted.
