If your unit decides to pay for all or some of your members:

You will need to renew members throughout the year when their renewals are due. This must be done by a Key 3. (Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Committee Chair, or Chartered Organization Representative)

They will log into www.my.Scouting.org and follow the steps in this document: DOWNLOAD THE 'UNIT PAY' MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL GUIDE HERE

      • Every member will renew their membership online.

      • Each member will receive an email renewal notice 60 days before your membership expires.

      For Unit Key 3:

      • Units should use their unit roster to determine the registration status of each member. (www.my.scouting.org>click Unit>Organization Manager>click Roster --- Scroll down for Renewal Status.)

      • Units WILL BE able to choose to pay for some or all members.

      • Units will be able to opt out of a member so as not to pay for someone who has quit.

      • Units will have access to reporting in My.Scouting for members due to renew, members renewed, and members dropped (opt-out.)
