February 22nd was a special night for the Indian Nations Council in many different ways. Scouts and Scouters, along with loved ones, friends and colleagues, gathered to recognize the Donald E. Walker 2013 Class of Eagle Scouts, together with eight Silver Beaver Award recipients and three North Star Award recipients.
205 Scouts were presented with the Eagle Scout Award in 2013.

Venturing is a youth development program for young men and women ages 14 (or completed the 8th grade) through 21. Venturing is one of the fastest growing programs in the Boy Scouts of America.
The purpose of Venturing is to provide experiences to help young people mature and become responsible and caring adults.
Venturing is based on a unique and dynamic relationship between youth, adult leaders and organizations in the community. Local organizations establish a Venturing crew by matching their people and programs resources to the interests of young people in the community. The result is a program of exciting and meaningful activities that help young people pursue their special interests, grow, develop leadership skills and become good citizens.
Venturing crews will learn leadership skills and participate in well-rounded, exciting activities, tailor-made for teenage youth, like camping, high adventure, backpacking, canoeing, etc. Read more…
