Each year, the Indian Nations Council hosts a weekend for our units to help prepare those headed to high adventure activities over the summer months.

For canoeing, we encourage those headed to Northern Tier or other canoeing trek opportunities over the summer that want a 15+ mile adventure to join us for the weekend.  This opportunity will enhance your canoeing skills for lake paddling and multi-day crew treks.

The backpacking shakedown weekend is for those units headed to ZBASE, Philmont or other backcountry adventures looking for a 15+ mile shakedown opportunity.  This course will help participants to establish their backpacking skills and is recommended for experienced backpackers.

You may only register for one experience on this weekend.
